Kurt Albert injured seriously in the climbing last Sunday and died on Monday in a hospital.
In 1989 Kurt and Wolfgang Guellich made the FA of Eternal Flame on nameless tower.

In 1975 Kurt Albert started to paint red dots on routes in Frankenjura that had been done free and this is why a free ascent is called redpoint.--8a.nu

Kurt is still alive. He injured due to a 18-meter fall during via ferrata. the reason is unclear.

上周日，Kurt作为三名教练之一，带一个17人的Via ferrrata的课程。在这样一条很简单的路线上，也许是因为大意，发生坠落。目前原因不明，但基本可以确定的是，没有把VF set的锁卡进铁索中。Kurt生前的好友Stefan Glowacz说，也许是因为过度疲倦导致了Kurt发生意外。在周六晚上Kurt还在汉堡有个报告，结束后连夜斜穿大半个德国从西北的汉堡赶到东南的巴伐利亚，带这个课程。
